Hong Kong’s Richest Man Donates $57.6 Million to University So Students Get Free Tuition for 4 Years

Fortune is not a Choice but the right proportion of Hard work and Luck. Although charity or selfish squander of one's hard earned money is completely the bearers' piece of choice. Some get rich with money, whilst others believe that the ability to help the needy with money is the epitome of being rich. World has a handful such people who contemplates riches in the later way. And that too a Rich-as-crazy guy believing and practicing the same is a yet scarce.

Li-ka-shing, world's 29th wealthiest person expounded that a trust foundation named after himself shall be catering the Shantou University with full funds for the next four years.

Shantou University in Guangdong Province of China elucidates in a Weibo post on Sunday that the Li-ka-shing Foundation was set to donate a humongous amount of 100 million yuans, i.e. 14.4 million dollars, for the welfare of students. The amount is sufficed to fill up the full fees of all UG students there for a term of at least 4 years (2019-2022) as conjectured by Shanghaiist.

It was not Li-ka-shing and his philanthropic foundation first help that was rendered to the Shantou University, but also in 1981 when as a Public school it was fostered and funded by the same foundation.

The estimated net worth of the 90-year-old Li-ka-shing is about $30.1 billion.  After passing to his Son his titanic legacy, he retired last March.  Since then Li has dedicated himself, his devotion, his time and energy just for serving selfless benevolence.

Li-ka-shing lays his verdict that “Empathy and generosity are a choice. It brings you joy and a sense of fulfilment. It unites us to achieve a bigger dream” on his 'farewell speech' in witness of all graduating students of Shantou University last year.

Thus, money is evil, yet it can do good and bring good to you and the world, if we just can use it in a cautious and selfless manner.
